FORK LIFT TRAINING
At Safety On Site we offer a range of courses and refresher training for the full range of forklift equipment.
We operate from our warehouse facility in Northampton where you or your employees can come to train or alternatively we come to your facility to train on site. We operate nationwide and can also work internationally to ensure continuity of training throughout your organisation.
We offer starter courses on all of the above equipment to suit novices as well as refresher courses to ensure that your staff are kept up to date with best practice and health & safety legislation.
On completion of the relevant course, candidates will have acheived the
HSE code of practice level LS117. They will be able to identify all of
the main components of the equipment, be able to carry out pre
shift inspections and understand the need for such
inspections. Candidates will be able to operate the
equipment safely within the defined usage perameters
and within confined spaces where applicable.
All training complies with LOLER98 and PUWER98 regulations.
Safety On Site also offer conversion training which comes into it's own when you are renewing or upgrading equipment to suit your business needs and you have employees who need additional skills to match your new equipment. This service is also used when employees are changing job roles and need further skills to carry out their duties safely.
Course durations will vary depending on the experience of the trainees and can range from 1 to 5 days from refresher through to novice.
Safety On Site will handle individual training through to 3 people for forklift, however we often work with up to 10 people on confined space training. This allows us to concentrate
fully on the needs of the individual, and to ensure that high standards
are met.
Group training will be more cost effective.
