Health & Safety Training

Safety On Site ensure that health & safety is taken into account within all of our training courses. In addition to this employers also need to be aware of their corporate responsiblity with regards to health & safety in the workplace.

All Training Complies with UK Regulations

We offer starter courses on all of the above equipment to suit novices as well as refresher courses to ensure that your staff are kept up to date with best practice and health & safety legislation.

Who needs to be aware of or trained in aspects of health & safety at work? The answer is basically everyone. Employers, managers, supervisors and staff are all candidates for training at various levels and all certainly need to be aware of, and be operating within the bounds of, your health & safety policy.

The Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 requires you to provide whatever information, instruction, training and supervision as is necessary to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety at work of your employees. This is expanded by the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, which identify situations where health and safety training is particularly important, e.g. when people start work, on exposure to new or increased risks and where existing skills may need updating.

Safety On Site provide health & safety training as we work with clients on a regular basis who are upgrading equipment or providing re-training for employees for new duties or on new equipment. Without the additional health & safety training you may be putting employees or the company at risk. It is also important to ensure that line managers are fully aware of new exposure to risk and therefore we run courses specifically designed to ensure that your management structure is fully compliant.

We provide health & safety training throughout the workplace including office, warehouse, manufacturing facilities and construction sites. Full COSHH training is provided where appropriate.

For comprehensive cover we would recommend using our risk assessment service followed by our health & safety training. In doing this we can link the training to specific areas within your business. This can then form part of your overall health & safety policy.
